Member Care Tips - Part 6
We are called to Jesus. We are priests to God. We have a ministry to man but our main ministry is to Jesus.
When we neglect our ministry to Jesus we are powerless and ineffective in our ministry to man.
Faith believes that God answers prayer. Faith believes that prayer is the work. That does not mean that we do not proclaim, serve, train and plant. But it does mean that we minister to Jesus and have Jesus minister to us first. Our ministry to man flows out of our ministry to God.
Intercession is a high calling. A call to spend time with God is the greatest work. We tend to honor those who give financially or who have large platforms. Your platform with God will be the greatest platform you will ever have.
When we intercede for others we are preparing the way. We are plowing the ground to receive the seed of the Word. It is not the secondary calling but it is the work that prepares a heart to receive. It is the work that prepares minds to understand. It is the work that creates open heavens. It is the work that demolishes strongholds.
Let us not neglect our highest calling and greatest work. Spend time with Jesus. God promises we will find him when we seek him with all our hearts. Go hard after God.

Remember if it is not natural it is supernatural and we defeat supernatural enemies through supernatural means. The weapons of your warfare are not carnal but mighty through God.
