Member Care Tips - Part 10

You ever feel lonely? You can be in the midst of a crowd and feel all alone. You scan social media and feel like your life does not measure up.

Satan wants to fill your mind with the lie that no one cares, you are all alone, that no one notices.

We know that is not true. God promises to be with us, to never leave for forsake us.

But at times, I need a a person that I can see and feel. That is not sacrilegious. God created us for relationships.

Newborn babies crave human touch. There have been several studies that prove the babies that have touch and interaction with adults are healthier. It is in our DNA.

If you are lonely, this is not to condemn you. That just makes it worse, placing guilt and shame on top of the loneliness. I do not want to shame or guilt anyone.

At the same time, only I can do something about my loneliness and only you can do something about yours.

Rarely does someone call us out of the blue. That does not mean they don’t care, it just means they are trying to survive themselves.

So what do we do when we are lonely?

Take action, do something.
  • Ask yourself, what can I do to make this better?
  • How can I develop deeper relationships?
  • Who can I reach out to?

The member care office is here for you.
